Overview
The Maricopa County Industrial Development Authority makes community investments that are consistent with our mission and have a strong public purpose.
The Maricopa County IDA’s focus is on the following endeavors that revolve around economic development and:
- link the “vulnerable” population (for example disabled, veterans, justice involved, dislocated workers, homeless, high school graduates, and 18-24 years old who are not in school nor employed) to jobs; and/or
- link higher paying jobs in high tech or manufacturing to the citizens of Maricopa County
The Maricopa County IDA also supports affordable housing, veteran programs and educational programs in identified areas of need.
We have teamed up with the Arizona Community Foundation (ACF) to facilitate these investments and will post Community Investment Guidelines here and on their website if the IDA Board authorizes.
