Overview
The Maricopa County IDA makes community investments that are consistent with our mission and have a strong public purpose. To date, the Maricopa County IDA has provided over $47 million in community investments supporting projects.
The Maricopa County IDA’s focus is on the following endeavors that revolve around economic development and:
- link the “vulnerable” population (Ex: disabled, veterans, justice involved, dislocated workers, homeless) to jobs; and/or
- link higher paying jobs in high tech or manufacturing to the citizens of Maricopa County
The Maricopa County IDA also supports affordable housing, veteran programs and educational programs in identified areas of need.
