The Home in Five “Advantage” program and the Home in Five “Platinum” program help low-to-moderate income individuals and families buy a home in Maricopa County.

Homebuyers can receive up to 6% assistance for down payment and closing costs, plus a mortgage loan with a competitive interest rate.

Since 2012, the Maricopa and Phoenix IDAs have provided down payment assistance through the Home in Five Advantage program and helped more than 24,800 homebuyers achieve the American dream of home ownership.

In late 2023, an additional program called Home in Five Platinum was added to complement the Home in Five Advantage program.
