Ronald J. Castro, Jr.
Ronald J. Castro, Jr. has over twenty years of experience in commercial banking in Arizona. He currently serves as West Valley Bank President for BNC National Bank in Glendale, AZ. He is actively involved in local board of directors including the Glendale Chamber of Commerce, WESTMARC, and the AZ Chapter of the Risk Management Association. Prior to his career in commercial banking, Ron graduated from Pepperdine University with a B.A. in Economics and continued his education earning an M.B.A. from University of Washington. Ron also attended the Pacific Coast Banking School, graduating in the Class of 2015 with Honors. Born and raised in the Valley of the Sun, Ron is a fifth generation Arizonan and currently resides in Litchfield Park, returning to his West Valley roots where he attended Cactus High School in Glendale. Ron is married to Karen Castro, of Seattle, WA who is a Director of Human Resources for Starbucks Coffee Company. They have a sixteen-year old and a fourteen-year old son, Brennan & Braeden, who with their parents enjoy attending Arizona Cardinals games, Arizona Diamondbacks games, skiing, fishing, boating, hiking, and travel. An avid golfer, Ron is also a member of Phoenix Country Club since 2001.
